در آستانهٔ شروع MBA در ۲۰۲۶، واقعاً چه فکری میکنم؟

The world is scary. We are not used to change happening at this pace. The lack of stability and the uncertainty about the future are scary for so many of us. But a few of us accept that uncertainty and say, "Okay, I can't predict tomorrow, so I give up." We say: yes, the situation is changing rapidly, but I can still use what I know today to plan for my future.
And that is how I came up with studying for an MBA.
The team problem, then and now
To me, AI is an absolute game changer. Imagine it is 2010 and someone has a brilliant idea for a startup. What do they need? There are lots of things, but one of the most crucial ones is a team of experts. Finance may even come second in importance. Because imagine that lots of sponsors support me, but I don't have an expert team to actually do the work.
But now, in 2026, AI is already capable of doing a huge range of tasks. I think we are at the beginning of an era of one-person startups. Why? Because you can have an idea, and AI can become your team.
AI has made it much easier to turn business ideas into something real. So this is where I assume the future might be heading. AI could give so many people who previously didn't have the means to run a business enough capability to actually launch one.
Of course, this is just how I think the future might go. It could be completely different. But I think we may see many more one-person startups, with people running businesses without needing a large team of experts.
Where the MBA comes in
And this is where the MBA comes in.
In a future where we might not need experts to do every task for us, and where one-person startups might become much more common, what would your competitive advantage be?
Exactly: knowing how to run a business. Being a business expert.
AI might make the actual work much easier, but compare an amateur with a brilliant idea using AI with a business expert using AI to build a business. The tool may be available to both of them, but they may not know how to use it in the same way.
This is why I think having an MBA could be valuable in the future, not just for working in big companies, but for standing out in a crowd of amateur startup builders.
A bet under uncertainty
Here, I am making a bet under uncertainty.
I don't know whether AI will produce the world I imagine. Nobody does.
But if my scenario is true, and AI makes starting and operating a business dramatically easier, I want to be one of the people who understands business deeply enough to take advantage of that, rather than merely use AI as a worker.
And if I am completely wrong? If AI doesn't create millions of one-person companies?
Maybe AI progress slows down. Maybe regulation changes everything. Maybe the future looks completely different from what I imagine.
But many of the skills I am acquiring will remain useful across those scenarios.
That is the position I am choosing: not a prediction that I know will be correct, but a position from which I can adapt if my prediction turns out to be wrong.
So, here I am, starting my MBA in 2026.
